Health & Safety

At Silly’s, your child’s safety is our top priority. All equipment, tarpaulin, and materials are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before each session.

Our play materials are designed with fun in mind—but always under the supervision of a parent or carer. While we do our best to clean up spills promptly, some materials may make the floor slippery. To keep everyone safe, we kindly ask:
- No running
- No throwing
- Keep messy play within the designated area

All materials used are non-toxic, but we strongly encourage children not to eat them.
Please remember: your child remains your responsibility throughout the session. If you need to leave the hall for any reason, your child must accompany you.

 

We recommend wearing old clothes—things might get gloriously messy! Silly’s cannot accept liability for stained or damaged clothing or belongings.

Payment & Attendance

Due to venue hire, preparation, and material costs, all payments can be refunded however we must be notified with 24 hours before the session for a full refund.
Please bring your pre-booked ticket with you and show it upon arrival.

Cancellations

In rare cases, we may need to cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, venue closure, staff illness). If this happens, we’ll do our best to offer a catch-up session or provide a voucher for a future class or refund where applicaable  .
Refund discussions can be initiated via our website or by contacting us directly.

 

Illness​

To keep our sessions safe and healthy for everyone, we kindly ask that you and your child do not attend if either of you is unwell or showing symptoms of a contagious illness, including COVID-19.

Photo Consent

We love capturing the joy of messy play! Occasionally, we may take photos or short videos during sessions for use on our website, social media, or promotional materials.
If you’d prefer your child not be photographed, please let us know:
- In advance via our website or email: sillysmessyplay@gmail.com
- And again when you arrive at the session

Age Suitability

Silly’s Messy Play is designed with little ones aged 8 months to 4 years in mind. This age range allows children to safely explore and enjoy the sensory experiences we offer.

If you have a younger child who you feel would enjoy the session, you're very welcome to bring them along—but please note that some activity stations may not be suitable for very young babies. In these cases, full supervision and responsibility remain with the parent or carer.

We kindly ask that you let us know in advance if you plan to bring a younger child. You can do this via our website or by contacting us directly.
